James L. Carr and Jerry A. Carr are the founders and artists for Oddball Studio. They are twin brothers born in 1972 from Oswego, New York, and grew up from age 8 in Lexington, Kentucky. All their family members have been artists of various modalities. They love creating unique, creative, gifts for that hard to shop for person in people’s lives. Creations in woodworking, ceramics, epoxy resin, writing books, neon bending, and even as musicians are part of their love for art. Generating games and products from different art genres has been one of their key differences that sets them apart from other artists. All their artistic abilities were learned through the relatives of accomplished artists throughout their lives, along with working with different art media and erudition from undertaking the work.
Exploring the possibilities of the mind, creativity, and taking action towards meaningful art is a big part of their joy. James has been a registered nurse for over 15 years allowing him to reach people in an intimate manner. This helps to create things that are wanted, desired, and fun to enjoy. Jerry has been a neon bender for over 32 years. Bending neon is truly art in of itself, but his consistent ability to learn and create new things is always a huge part of his dynamic personality. Inspired by Napoleon Hill, Bob Proctor, and Anthony Robbins these twins are an expression of dreaming and believing, making a plan, and taking action to make not only their dreams, but their customers’ dreams become reality.
